Which celeb would you be upset to find out was a git?

Michael Palin for me - seems a nice enough chap. Just borrowed my mum's boxset of his travels. With that and Python, I would be upset/annoyed if I found out he was a complete git off camera.

I didn't like the documentary that showed Billy Butlin in his true light. The "revelations" about Walt Disney's extreme right wing tendencies was also a shock (Apparently, he would not hire Jews and spied for Hoover)

So - who would do that to you?

Johnny Depp. He seems really nice and the sought of chap you could have a beer and a chat with in the lovely Mermaid Inn in Rye. Here's how I imagine my conversation with him;

"Hey Johnny, how are you mate? I think you're a dude and your performance alongside Al Pacino in Donnie Brasco was very moving and one of my favourite cinematic relationships. Fancy a pint?"

"Yeah, sure dude, shall I ring Vanessa and Kate and get them to pop down too?"

"Sure, why not".

If he just said "f*** off" and got his security to beat me up I'd be well miffed.

Winnie the Pooh, I know he's a bit lazy and greedy, but I would be gutted if he turned out to be an alcoholic or womanizer. Specially being a local lad and all.

Sorry to say that I once caught Winnie trying it on with my girlfriend. When I intervened he threatened to "shove a honey jar where even a bear with a lot of brains won't be able to find it"

Sorry to have to break it to you.

Jimmy Savile. He always seems such a friendly old man and does so much for charity. Imagine if he turned out to be a necrophiliac.

I've actually contacted Michael Palin for a campaign I was working on and he was very nice and helpful.

The father of a work colleague drinks in the same pub in Rye as Johnny Depp and he was apparently an all-round good bloke.

However, I have met Jimmy Saville and he was a bit of a tosser.

I saw Dan Harding outside molineux the other day signing a few bits. i went over and said
"Keep your head up Dan, keep working..."
just trying a bit of encouragement, like.

He looked at me like i was a piece of shit on his shoe.
I was only trying to be friendly - thought he'd been a bit low on confidence lately.

Git.
