Which Albion game are you glad you missed?

Last season in division 1. Imagine my horror when the fixtures came out and I discovered I was on holiday for that game we lost 5-0. Quite glad I missed it now.

I was on the brink of going to the Blackpool away match last season, but decided late on not to bother, and to save the money instead. Sounds like we absolutely stank the place out that afternoon, so I was relieved I gave that one a miss.

Brentford away last season. I'd been there and done that a couple of years ago...

I tend to feel that I want to be at every game win or lose so I am never upset to have gone even when we get thrashed.

For me it's the Palace 5 - 0 game, too.

I was gutted when I discovered it was the first weekend of the school half term and I'd agreed to go to Devon.

The person organising the accommodation even suggested we went after the game but (ex)wife refused. That's one thing she got right, then!!

Got a text from my mate who went that arrived whilst on the road. It just said "5 - 0 so far!!". Without it having to say, I knew we were losing as it didn't have a "wahey" or suchlike attached. Made the rest of the drive a bit grim wondering what the final score was going to be.

I had a ticket for the Blackpool game last season but decided that it wasn't practical to get up there and back in one day. Glad I missed it now.

I was working on the day we lost to Bristol Rovers 8-2 at home, that and the home defeat to Walton & Hersham (when I was at school) were the two matches I'm most glad to have missed.

Palace away for me too, I had to go on a school history trip to Belgium and France, I was really pissed off that I couldn't go, but when I heard the result I was quite relived I decided to go on the trip.

I couldn't go to the game against Walton & Hersham in 1973, because it was played at 3.00 on a Wednesday and I was at school.

I missed the 5-0 humiliation too because the guy who was our best man now lives near Reading and invited us for the weekend.

I was walking around the centre of Reading with my mobile bleeping with text msgs giving me the scoreline. :(

3-4 loss to Rochdale on a Friday night at Christmas.

Scott Ramsay was appaling.

I decided to go to the college ball instead.

I remember being paraletic and sitting outside the girls toilets crying because we lost. That was just after I'd come out and told everyone, in a surprised voice, that there were girls in there.

Still, Palace lost 2-0 to Cambridge.
