I thought about the Den but the idea of shitting oneself thoroughly twice a day - both on the way to and from our own home games - rendered it out of the running for me at least.

And as for the idea of us giving a sizable chunk of money to that oddball wig-wearing egomaniac in Berkshire - nah. Scally was bad enough.

Nah Millwall are a bunch of lambs these days. In any case all their nutters should be at away games when we play there! I like the ground and it's easy to get to.

We'll do our European groundshare with TNS. Unlike Chrystal Palace, they play in the UEFA Cup just about every season.

The Recreation Ground, usually referred to as Treflan, is bang in the middle of the village - just turn off the A4393 opposite Wynnstay Stores.
Attendances for Welsh Premier games averaged 258 last season with a high of 441 for the visit of Bangor City.
Highest crowd of the season was 1,056 for the visit of Wrexham in the quarter-finals of the FAW Premier Cup.
On 9 August 2002, Treflan saw a record crowd of 1,996 for the pre-season friendly visit of Chelsea.
The stand behind one goal seats 500 and is alongside a corporate hospitality box. Down one side of the ground is an older, smaller stand, opposite the TV gantry, which is used for filming recorded highlights at some games for showing on BBC Wales or HTV Wales. The ground is fully floodlit.
Current admission charges are £5 adults, £3 OAPs, £1 children.
44-page colour match-day magazines cost £2.
There is an excellent licensed social club inside the ground, together with a refreshment bar serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.
Saturday kick-offs are at 3.00, evening kick-offs at 7.30 pm.
