To be fair, we ARE still in Spring. Summer doesn't even start til June 21st...

Give it time folks.

Any weather men out there in NSCland know if we are going to get a few days of HOT anytime and when I'll be able to wear these  somewhere else rather than on the top of my head (not that I do tbh)

Depressing

Spring is March/April/May, with summer June/July/August, so really Midsummers Day is the start of summer rather than the middle of it. Plenty of time yet for some good weather!

Flew to Lyon yesterday for a week savouring all the delights of Burgundy ... should be 25+ and bright sun .. it's 14 and raining and no immediate prospect of improvement. Thankfully have the Euro's to occupy us (well me) otherwise It'd be a 400Km drive south looking for a bit of sun

Well I'll be jiggered, the young weather guy wearing 501's on Country file, just gave a forecast that included the jet-stream. :moo:

Come on , this isnt June's weather this is today's weather.

A few weeks ago wasn't British May weather but a spell of warm and fine weather in May !!

It's where we live, we have a temperate climate, which offers generally mild winters and mild yet sometimes wetter than we would like Summer's.

We seem to be intoxicated by sunny holiday brochures and demand the same !!

Britain happens to be next to the Antlantic Ocean with a jet stream from west to east, basically blowing the moist air ( rain ) over us, sometimes it doesn't and so it goes on.

Nothing particularly new and we will be lucky with some lovely warm days this Summer, its where we live !!
