Go to Brighton mate.

Worthing is Chav capital of Sussex.

I thought it was Hastings and Hailsham (well Hailsham is a small town).

:)

Was it the Vine at Tarring?Good enough pub, also the Half Brick@ East Worthing on the front towards Brooklands used to do a decent half of bitter shandy and a meat raffle.

can't stand the shithole, lives there for 20yrs and finally pulled off the great escape. Live in London and whenever i go back there to see family it sends shivers down my spine. Absolute shit hole.

Put on one of them sports jackets with the leather elbows, grab your pipe and drive the Land Rover to one of the pubs in Angmering, Goring or wherever you find one you can only get to by car in nowheresville, and pose like some upper-crust ponce.

Talk about your landholdings and the poor light at the stock exchange, and the extension to your farmhouse, and how tough it is to find a decent Jaguar mechanic who knows the vintage models.
(buy one of those keyrings with Ferrari on Maserati on it, and always lay it on the bar with your driving gloves)

Don't tell anyone you live in Worthing.

The only places I remember from Worthing are :lolol:

bensons, Chapmans, Liberties :nono: , Thieves Kitchen, The Fountain (or nursery as it was then known :lolol: ) and of course the great "Sterns!"

Thomas a Beckett is Ok and run by Kerry mayo's brother. The Broadwater is sporty or the Cticketers if you fancy a decent ale and something quieter!
