Having watched that match against West Brom where we missed two penalties (and had a goal from a free kick chalked off), I'm inclined to value somebody who reliably scores them pretty damn highly.

We’ve had 25 PL pens in the last 3 seasons and scored 24 of them. The one we missed. ? Pedro headed the rebound into the back of the net.
It’s a remarkable record.

If we‘re selling just one of our top talents this summer, for me he’s the one I’d miss least. Mitoma, Baleba, JPVH all more important and more consistent.

Noticed that too. I wonder whether we’ve thought we’ll use the squad without him to the end of the season.
Maybe we’ve had a bid and we don’t want to risk him being injured, if we are keen to sell.

I think our team against Liverpool might change if Palace win today. Say what you like about Pedro, but if we desperately need a goalscorer on Monday he needs to be in the squad at least. Most likely to find a goal or penalty if we are desperate imo.
If our season is effectively over FH may change tack on who plays.

Pedro has the most potential as a flair player but has worried me since the beginning of the season. A couple of interviews, he referenced that he knew how much of an important player he was for us. That and a few Beckham-like performances of dropping deep when we are losing and trying to Roy of The Rovers his way to winning the game himself. He alternates between tracking back like a mad man and sulking without tracking back.
Great to watch and makes us better when he is on it but, like others, I wouldn't be heartbroken if he went for good money. We need a young Welbz, not a part time school solo artist.
