Fotballers only work part time, compared to most of us , and earn in a year, what most of us earn in a career. . . . . Jetting about like we used to party in our 20's . . . . What that does for their mental and physical wellbeing/conditioning is for someone else to decide. . . .

I just hope he stays on the rails and on good enough form for TB to cash in. I'll be suprised if hes with us come September.

Pedro started training for the Man City game on Mar 11th. He’s then been with Brazil and came back for Forest, Villa and Palace. So this is his first 2 days off in 25 days. Presumably he will be back at Lancing tomorrow.
You seem to be comparing the work life of a premier league footballer to the average man in the street. I can do all of that on 12hr days of working hard onsite and not bat an eyelid.

No doubt. But I’m not that fussed if he’s had couple of days off .

But fair enough - you are !

I'm an adult (probably) so I understand players have time off, have loads of money and get whisked from the ground to their plane by private chauffeur, get the best specialist care and er, have someone photograph them holding a phone in a fancy restaurant. It's all fine obviously but I'd be lying if I said that after standing in that stinky shithole, treated like third class citizens by the police, watching them pass the ball sideways endlessly and losing their third big game in a week completing the double for our fiercest rivals, it doesn't all stick in the throat a bit on an irrational, emotional level to see these tone deaf pictures.

True and not true. Someone who only plays domestic club football will work less than the average man.

International players from CL/EL teams often spend a total of ~4-4.5 months per year in various hotels. Given they are frequently young parents, its quite a lot of family time sacrificed.

I think he posted this one this morning just to show @dwayne that it wasn’t a “table for one”.

Yeh

Let them have a few days off by all means. They would have had a couple of days for a break scheduled in, win lose or draw. But don't post photos. The club got it's messaging right as the other players listened to them. Joao Pedro didn't and now he must face the ultimate consequence. A right telling off on Albion Unlimited

If anyone is wondering / looking for another reason to be envious / curious about his choices he's wearing a Rolex DateJust 41mm - looks like the oystersteel and yellow gold, about £13k. Something along those lines anyway - there are variations in the metals used.

It's an interesting choice - the jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel are a decision he's made that make it catch the light and standout a little more than had he gone for the smooth bezel and oyster bracelet which are a bit more discrete. It's also an interesting choice because while it's a Rolex (slight yawn in that footballer-with-a-Rolex is a cliche) he's not gone for the much more common among footballers Submariner or Daytona.

The Submariner is a dive watch, looks the business, and is for many the "classic" Rolex while the Daytona is a bit of a legendary watch - if you buy a Daytona you likely have a bit of an interest in watches and their history or just a load of money and want a Rolex chronograph. Solly has a Daytona for example that's cost him 2 or 3 times as much as this DateJust. So the DateJust is arguably a bit of a refined buy and being very simple it's also one that's a bit understated and not typical for a professional footballer. I'd even suggest it's quite a classy choice compared to many.

If we win on Saturday, then it's a good move,
If we don't. There is going to be a lot of very angry posts on this thread.

Bit of a weird post. I suspect he's got a collection. Sure I've seen him with an RM before.

Does he not own a mobile phone? I hear they're coming with clocks on them these days.
