Google Lens suggests it could be the Nobu Hotel in Marbella 👀
It's like GeoGuessr! Definitely there. You can match the rooftop on the right

Footballers go to Marbella because some of the world leading experts on various sports injuries have their businesses there. Haaland is there with his family at the moment, as an example.

Given that he certainly didn't look 100% fit against Palace, I'd say there's about 0% chance he is Marbella on "vacation". Athletes go there for world class medical expertise... if they want fun, they go somewhere where it isn't crawling with sport physios.
Haaland is likely to be working with John Haddad on his injury recovery. He’s worked with him a lot before.

If Joao Pedro is out there for an injury he’s probably going to the Marbella Football Centre which is about a 20 min drive from the hotel he’s at. We had Pervis, Evan, Moder as well as Joao Pedro there before to recover from injury.

The players did look leggy against Villa and Palace, considering that FH likes to play a high intensity game, he would have seen sub par performances from the players and maybe took the view that a quick rest instead of heavy training is the right course of action.

Regenerate those legs and minds, clear any thoughts of those two performances, start afresh for the run in for Europe.

if it works (if the above is correct) then he will come across as a genius. Although I'm sure RDZ did something similar? Could be wrong though.
Agree - players looked tired, no problem from me with a couple of days off.

The season is NOT over.

Win Saturday, and we're back on track.

Try BA or Iberia.....or in Joao's case, probably a private jet 🙄
But neither of those are as funny. BA will probably pass the route over to Vueling. Having 'enjoyed ' vueling to florence for our Rome europa escapade then I can honestly say i can't kick a ball professionally afterwards

Interesting that - as I was once told that one of the biggest issues with players injuries on international duty was in the journey to the holding camps I.e plane leg room, luggage etc
Lack of leg room? hardly an issue on longhaul business, or even first class. As for luggage, do they really carry their own?

What is interesting is that, to the best of my knowledge, not a single player has made a social media post after Saturday's game, and that's very, very unusual. Many of the players don't go into hiding on the back of a poor result.

So I do wonder if they've been given a few days off - it would be particularly valuable to those who had long-distance travel during the international break, immediately followed by three high-intensity games.
Hurzeler has made an Instagram post though, that you win or lose together.

Maybe helps take some of the abuse off the players that inevitably comes.

Only relaying what I had been told. Even lie flat beds apparently cause issues to finely honed athletes

Just to reiterate: I have no idea.

I just commented that the radio silence from the entire squad is a bit unusual.

And putting 2 + 2 together, that could mean that they (or some of them) have some time off and, possibly aware of the optics, have kept quiet.

The 2+2 could equal 5 - there's no way of knowing whether that is a "live" photo from Joao Pedro or not.
Fab needs to get himself on an Emotional Intelligence course pronto

Maybe he’s setting fire to his tactics again and needed the backing of Marbs relaxed health and safety laws this time around

After his (non) performance on Saturday I thought he would have been sent to Cleethorpes for a few days. :)
