Fighting against relegation to league one?
Mid table championship?
Bravely fighting against the premiership big dogs?
Battling to qualify for the champions league?
In barcelonas boots?

You tell me.

I reckon about 15th in the premiership... and yes Gus long gone to a big club somewhere. Can see him proving his ability with us then moving on to bigger things, cant blame him really.

top half of the premireship Gus still here with that distinguished touch of grey that Figo seems to have booted into touch in favour of the colour purple , Liam Bridcutt will now be in his early 20s and be able to get in a casino without having to say "do you know who i am " :) , during this time Brightons population of albionites will have quadroupled due to a en mass mating of plastics after we win the F.A cup in 2012 when i will finally be able to hear the words "and Smith does score".

Crazy to second guess where a club like the Albion will be in 5 years let alone 10!

I reckon in the Championship, or whatever it will be called by then, but having had a taste of the premier league in the meantime. This season's League Cup Final appearance the catalyst for 2-3 seasons of heaven.

I was thinking gus at spurs too, can see that happening in the near future actually. Redknapp going to the england job and Gus taking his place

They wouldnt earn much. Some of them have just eaten their selves silly over the summer. So much for for a good pre season training

Quite possibly the same as now. Trying to get promoted from the Championship. I think we'll have had a spell in the Premier League in between though.

How about back in League 1 after our fortunes went downhill following a points deduction caused by fans running on the pitch and "luzzing" seats v Crystal Palace in 2011 - as a result never saw the promised land of the Premier League and after Gus going had a series of caretaker and short term management appointments trying to find another Golden One before finally going back to Russell Slade to take charge for the second half of each season on a job share with anyone who would come for the first half.

Sound stupid? Course it is.But not half as daft as some threads on here lately.

In reality it's daft to even try to guess what will happen but if Tony Bloom keeps his interest there is no reason why we shouldn't be as established in the Premiership as the likes of Sunderland. Newcastle, Fulham etc over the next decade and who on here wouldn't settle for that?

I certainly would. The whole thing is quite literally a dream come true - long may it continue!! It's what we fought for and we bloody well deserve it. SEAGULLS!

It's also a bit depressing to think that that is really the absolute maximum we can ever hope for. The next few years are going to be the best ever to be an Albion fan. After that I fear it may become a bit stale again.
