we finished a season having picked up more points away than at home. Can't have happened that often..

We did it in our last season at the Priestfield, I think. We certainly haven't won more on the road than at home for a long long time. I got as far back as 1980 and gave up looking.

Why is that? I would imagine that we are not that great at breaking down teams, with such a young side and the games are far more open on the road.
