Leg out of the bed
I was in London on Sunday and went on the Underground and saw some posters for exhibitions, including works by Braque and Mapplethorpe and it made me think of of the last exhibition I'd been to, which was some video work at The Whitechapel Gallery.

I might trot up for The Turner Prize exhibition, which is normally worth a look. If I plan a route, I can normally take in two or three exhibitions, squeezing out full value from a one-day travelcard

Any art fans out in NSC-land?

It's what I do for a living - if you need advice feel free to ask, though you'll probably get a gormless answer...

I suppose the obvious starting point if you haven't been for years and you're willing to travel to London is Francis Bacon, but there are loads of good ones in Brighton at the moment.

I'm hoping to see Francis Bacon but time is running out.

Did the Gehry pavilion and Richter show at the Serpentine in the summer, going to catch the Bacon show before it ends on the 4th.
