I was aiming that at you who decided that the first thing to discuss after a dire performance was his penalty record! I know this thread doesn't say anything about that.

sorry - next time we come home from a game perhaps you can provide us with an ITINERARY of in which order we are allowed to discuss things in order to avoid any tears

You're being pathetic Scott. I didn't have an issue with the fact he doesn't save penalties, just that you instantly chose that as what you wanted to go on about in an attempt to force an argument, knowing full well it wasn't the reason for our defeat.

i didnt instantly chose that - i cant even remember how we started talking about it. infact, i believe it came up after something that was said on the fans phone in

whatever happens, had we of discussed kuipers penalty saving abilities after we had done everything else to death, you would still have got in a strop about it - despite the fact that at NO point did i - or anyone else in the car - blame him for the defeat. i thought he was superb last night

can't recall him ever saving one , certainly whenever a pen is given against us I'm almost sure it's a goal. I actually text my brother last night that is was 2 - 1 to them before the kick was even taken last night

No, I really do not get "in a strop" with you. You're being rather childish in even thinking that. I just recall us still being in Huddersfield having watched a dire defeat, and are we discussing the game? No, yet another pointless Kuipers argument. He doesn't save penalties, that's a fact, so quite why you think I have a problem with that I don't know, but it's a bit like spending half an hour discussing why Andy Whing doesn't score goals. Ultimately correct, but compared to other problems totally irrelevant. The question would have been relevant had Huddersfield taken a penalty he COULD have saved, that I agree with, but they didn't as it was right in the corner. In fact, both penalties last night were unsavable. Now, the following day, or any day in fact, discuss the
fact he doesn't save penalties, slag him off to your hearts content, but don't waste my time when I've got a five hour drive home:thumbsup:

ok - correct me if i am wrong, which i am sure you will, but from the general gist of it you didnt want to discuss the kuipers not saving penalties thing as it wasn't relevant to the game we had just seen. is that correct? if so, that is fair enough

by using this sort of guideline then, on the way back from southend, if mayo plays a blinder, i will expect you to praise him until the hill and not mention how inadequate he has been for several years now, as that would be irrelevant to what we have just seen. you can slag him off until your hearts content any other day, but dont waste my time when i will have a four hour drive home

You've finally got it, albeit using lots of hilarious sarcasm to prove it. I don't even mention Kuipers with you due to your willingness to force an argument, hence you'll notice there was no mention last night of how good he was. If Mayo has a blinder at Southend, that's what I'll say, although using your logic I'll need to try and name all the times over the last six years he's been totally SKINNED.

yes - i was really hoping for an argument when I said i thought kuipers was superb and one of our best players as i just KNEW you would disagree with those statements :)

anyway, lets just agree to disagree. i hope this doesnt affect my request for a FOAM FINGER
