5,500 tops, surely.
Are Spurs tickets still available then?
Hopefully, todays ramp up event will give the caterers some inkling of the likely demand that there will be for a serious (but non serious) fixture, ie in terms of spectators, so they can get their act in gear.
Sadly, I have the feeling that certain aspects will not be fully tried and tested until we have a visit from the likes of Cardiff or Leeds for example.
From a ticketing perspective, this particular thread confirms the urgency with which the club absolutely needs to improve communication as I have previously suggested.
Get back to me if anyone is interested.
5,500 tops, surely.
Only 7,000 instead of 10,000?
Say Spurs is only 11,000 instead of 17,500.
How will that prepare for 22,500 for Doncaster?
I thought todays game was sold out until I went in to get my Spurs & Gills tickets, so I picked one up. I think a lot of people were under the impression that tickets were either all sold or very hard to come by.
I went up to the Stadium just to experience the historical occasion thinking that it had been sold out. Once there though I went into the Club Shop and took my place in the queue for the tickets around 1.40pm. Was told that I should phone the club shop in Queens Road and given a number to ring. Once I'd paid for the ticket it could then be issued at the Stadium. The guy explained that they couldn't sell tickets from the Stadium as they only had a licence up to 12pm to do this. I was reluctant to do this as I've heard the ticket line takes so long so was resigned to asking if anybody had one for sale. This proved fruitless so went back into the Stadium ticket office after 3pm and managed to get one despite what I'd previously been told.
