Anyway, I used to pay £1.50 as a kid to get into the Goldstone, and thinking how expensive it was for my Dad to pay four quid, or whatever it was in 1986.

I can also remember Polos being 7p I think, and penny sweets being just that.

Well being still relitivly young myself (mid-late 20's),i can remember buyinh 10 Red Band for 95p with my dinner money.Also when i started going to the Goldstone Ground it used to cost me £3 as a junior seagull to stand on the southwest terracing.

I can remember going into the Goldstone for I think 1 old shilling and standing in the South Stand and changing ends at half time for 6 old pence so that I could always be behind the goal the Albion were attacking

9d inthe 50's and change ends in the chicken run at half time, just wander down the other end.:thumbsup:
