When does a rumour become a hoax?

Okay, so 11am has been and gone without incident, but the 'rumour' did suggest today OR tomorrow.

At what stage do you dismiss it as merely a hoax?

Also, for anyone with hours to kill, any chance of having a 'List of Shame' which names all of those responsible - over what seems many years - for issuing false rumours over the Falmer decision.

agree, there have been quite a few rumours; Argus, Southern FM, OTLW's thing about post in the ODPM out-tray, that all seem to point towards a genuine story about to break.

i will probably spend tomorrow morning checking NSC, as i have done today!

IMHO
There have been a load of rumours/hoaxes (call them waht you will) over the last few weeks/months.
But this is all kosher.
The decision has been made.
My guess is the main movers now know the result and that we will all know the result within the next 24/36 hours .... hopefully a lot sooner.
