Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
I used to work somewhere that cared for people with quite serious mental health issues, and I regularly found that individual’s behaviour changed around the time of the full moon. Not everyone, not every time, but in general there tended to a higher number of incidents when we were around the time of a full moon.

Given that the moon exerts a gravitational pull on the earth is strong enough to affect tides, and given that the human brain and heart are composed of 73% water, I think its entirely possible that if the moon's gravitational force can effect tides it could probably affect human beings to a degree.

But there is a big difference between saying I think the moon’s gravitational force can potentially affect water and chemicals in the brain that might affect an individuals’ behaviour, to saying the moon is going to make me incredibly lucky today with money or love.

Also if you ever read a horoscope, the advice is just generic self help. I randomly looked one up online a minute ago, it said “you’ll be really busy today, with thoughts a mile a minute. Stop and write down them down and come back to them in a few days when you’re calmer.” That could be applied to anyone. Everyone is busy. And telling someone to write your ideas down and have a look at them in a couple of days time has nothing to do with stars etc, its just bland generic self help advice.

Police recognise that there is more crime during a full moon, and there is a reason mentally ill people were called lunatics.

Stars and planets making shapes in the sky, pretending to be lions, scales or fish do not affect your life in any way.

Can I come to the pub with you? Albion Dan will write us both a letter backed up with loads of evidence and stuff. We might both make husband of the year.

Sure! It's important we stick to the timetable, for legitimacy. Let me know which slot is best for you :)

Not sure about astrology. But then I'm a wishy washy Piscean.

I know the full moon business is correct though. But that's simple science. If the moon governs the tides, and humans are 70% water, then we are under its influence to a degree.

:lolol: While you're at the pub for the extra time read this by one of the most widely acknowledged geniuses of our time and you might come out a little better prepared to argue about the universe..

That's just one example. Have you read it before dismissing it? The FED paid for the research because they believed in the concept. There are tons of other bits of research on the subject. Here's one:

https://ethz.ch/content/dam/ethz/sp...e geomagnetic storms and the stock market.pdf

Or just have a google and see the huge bank of material on the subject.

https://www.google.com/search?q=sto...rSxUIHSfCA9I4ChDy0wN6BAgEEDE&biw=1266&bih=561

As the global lead for Banking & Capital Markets at a large organisation specialising in advanced analytics and artificial intelligence, I'll gladly read the paper from 2003, as it's right up my street. However, I cannot immediately see any evidence that the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta paid for this study "because they believed in the concept", and I'll therefore accept this as your opinion rather than fact.

I will also read the university thesis, in case there's anything of interest.

Thanks.

No. It doesn’t work like that. The water in our bodies is not in one concentrated body of water. It is distributed throughout our cells, organs, blood, joint fluid. It is subject to many forces and is regulated by the body. It is not like some biological water table and is most certainly not affected by any celestial body or phenomena.

It’s a romantic idea but ultimately nonsense. As is astrology and the idea that stars affect our actions
As for the link to police research? It’s the police with anecdotal evidence. I’m not sure I would give it too much credence.

The moon cycle affecting mood? Maybe. Probably not. I work nights with some very volatile people and the moon doesn’t seem to affect it. Despite the female staff being adamant it does.

Pseudoscience? No it's just called science and Astrophysics.

Great. If only the question I'd posed was "does Astrophysics exist?". But it wasn't.

I suggest you do a bit of research, you may even learn something.

Oh, ok then.

*lazily googles*

https://www.rmg.co.uk/discover/explore/does-the-moon-affect-humans-health-mood

Later studies have failed to find a correlation between the Moon and mental health. An analysis of ‘lunar-lunacy’ research published in 1985 concluded that there was no connection between the Moon and incidents such as crime, suicides and mental hospital admissions. A recent study in 2019, analysing the data of 17,966 individuals treated at various psychiatric wards over a period of 10 years, also found "no evidence that our celestial neighbour influences our mental well-being."

You're coming across pretty ignorantly at the moment as you're clearly arguing about something of which you understand nothing and of which there is tons of evidence.

You're coming across as a deluded bully again.

It really doesn’t work like that.

There is some anecdotal evidence to suggest the full moon affects behaviour. But nobody knows why or indeed if it’s isn’t just a zeitgeist delusion lots of people have bought into.

I work in an environment with people with mental health issues. The moon doesn’t seem to affect them. All of them are affected by internal and external influences at all different times. Frankly, suggesting the moon is at play is about as relevant and up-to-date as trapaning.

Who brought up the moon or mental health?

YOU actually tried to be the bully by jumping on my post to demean where I presented some information that suggested that humans can be behaviourally affected by the sun and planets because of energy, magnetism, and frequency suggesting no evidence. I then provided evidence and science to support the information I presented and can provide an awful lot more.

So who is the bully here? Very poor behaviour for a mod tbh. Maybe there’s a solar storm influencing you?

Wait, Robert Lomas is one of the most widely acknowledged geniuses of our time?

*lazily googles again*

Robert Lomas is a British writer, physicist and business studies academic. He writes primarily about the history of Freemasonry as well as the Neolithic period

Wow. Who knew?

[emoji23]. I see what you did there bully. Very clever. I meant ‘about’ rather than ‘by’ in my post (sorry typed as I walked to catch my train home from work). But I suspect you knew that as it was really pretty obvious wasn’t it?

I also know you’ve no intention of actually reading any of the evidence or any material on Tesla, Gann, or anything that might actually help you learn something about what your talking about. But that’s the typical kind of behaviour of a bully who’s pretty much had his ar*se handed to him right through this conversation isn’t it? [emoji23]

So, to sum up, astrology is alright because of a disputed book about Tesla written by an expert in Freemasonary?

Enjoy the game.......

I’m quite interested in the role magnetism has to play in human behaviour. I don’t know why, but it’s interesting I think.

25 years ago I worked with a really lovely lady. In the 60s she had been part of the "scene" in London and had met everyone. Her husband was a journalist and his paper were looking for someone to do weekly horoscopes. He told the editor that she was psychic and put her forward.
She got the gig and for a couple of years wrote what she described as "a load of old nonsense".
She had letters and gifts from gullible idiots who beleived every word.

As above so below.
London,Paris and Washington have all been built in accordance with cosmic astrological symbology.
The reason for this is because the creators of this new world understood the secrets of the ancients understanding of the cosmic order.
Ancient Egypt the Mayans and a few others all built their cities according to celestial observations for a reason.
Astrology is secret powerful ancient knowledge known only by a select few in modern times.
The Russell Grant/mystic meg astrology is all nonsense designed to make us believe astrology is nonsense so the so called elite can keep this knowledge for themselves.
