Winchester Sunday League cup final last season in front of about 120. [Lost 5-4 AET, after a 3-3 draw ]

Though I did play in an Albion fans game away to Oldham about 20 years ago, along with El Presidente and Albion photographer Bennett Dean, amongst others. It was in the days of their plastic pitch, so they let us play our match at Boundary park, starting at about 11.45. By the end of our match [1-0 to the good guys] 1,000 or so early birds had arrived for the proper game. Don't think they paid us much attention though, once they'd got past the initial fright of thinking the match they'd come to see had started early...

About a hundred when I was 12.

Twas an epic battle after a 1-1 draw on Southwick FCs pitch that, in real terms, had 14 ft high goals and was 4.5 furlongs wide, Portslade Dolphins managed to clinch a winner in the second half of extra time against our bitter rivals Portslade Eagles.

Nicky Rust and Junior McDougald presented us with the trophies at the end and we drank Tizer and ate Flumps into the early hours of that evening to celebrate.

What an occasion.

For football, maybe one man and a dog...certainly no more than 10...but for hockey it was about 300 or so for the final match at a festival.

Played in front of about 30 or 40 I guess. Sat on the bench in front of a couple of hundred. Haven't reached any cup finals yet, got knocked out at the semi finals in the last 2 years annoyingly.

Me too, although I think 'played' might be too strong a word for my cointribution. I ran about a lot.

That was really the only way to stay warm that night!

I don't remember really being any better. 4-1 up to 4-4 and Ricky misses the decisive penalty. A great memory, even if we lost out eventually.

Stumpy Tim, scorer of 2 goals on the night, giving his autograph to an inebriated Ian Chapman in Club Barcelona later on in the evening only added to the surreal nature of it all.

In the mid 1970s I played in a kind of demonstration game by kids prior to a pre-season friendly at the Goldstone - there would probably have been 5000 or so there.

My two memories are

> almost letting a goal in through my legs as keeper - but the soggy sand in the goalmouth saved me - still hightly embarrassing though!

> us all getting into trouble for selling programmes for our game which the punters thought were for the main match.

I played in a 5 a side game in front of the growing crowd for the Brighton v Pompey game at Fratton Park in 1990 so that was probably a few thousand.

But in 3 weeks I hope I will have a new highest crowd (GET DOWN TO LEWES FC ON MAY8th FOR SOME SERIOUS SOCCERBALLING)

About a dozen when playing for my school, to this day I'm still one of the few people to have been shown a straight red card on school duty!

I played in front of about 2 dozen people for the Portslade Dolphins in a tournament we were wrongly entered for, I would have been about 14 and we were playing with 16 year olds, got hammered in almost every game. We went 5-0 down in one game and most of us started crying. Classic memories!
