Fancied blowing out a few cobwebs today, so it's back to one of my favourite bands from the 70's, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, so good I had to post 2 videos.

This track takes me back to 1973 and a stag night at Woodside Road clubhouse. When I say stag night this was an organised 'lads' night involving 'blue' comedians and strippers. One girl performed her routine to this track at full volume, fit bird dancing about naked to brilliant rock music, that memory has stayed with me a long long time, or as El Pres would class it, definitely one for the w**k bank.
:lolol: :drool:

Here
Came across this earlier today and it transported me back to a 20 year old me, driving a car with 2 girls down to the South of France for a camping holiday just outside Frejus - Harvest had just been released and was the soundtrack to our journey....

Going in early today with a track from the Uncut Sampler I listened to over breakfast.The Smoke on the Water type riff makes it a massive earworm.

Brighton factually.....
Stone Roses almost garage/trash sound.

Little known boring fact Ian Brown was a Psychobilly Scooter boy, at the same time as me in Manchester, and we regularly went wreckin together at the Ritz or Berlin's. also had our flat tops done at Aflecks Palace.

Good morning class, once again I have been immersing myself in the sounds of the 70's ("stop groaning at the back"!) and came up with this from Vinegar Joe, which launched the solo careers of their two lead singers Robert Palmer and the superb Elkie Brooks.This is them ripping it up on TOGWT, I rather had a thang for the lovely Elkie.
:love::love::love::love:

And this is Elkie in 2006, 33 years later aged 61, still got it and I believe she stiil tours today.
:love::cool:
