Could have picked any song from the Turnstile album that came out yesterday, but this is the one that keeps going round my head. A band that came from hardcore and still play their songs with that ferocity and are deep in that scene as musicians, but have broadened their soundscape so much themselves.



Also the new single from Southampton goth rockers Creeper is superb as well. Massive chorus and big ol' twin guitar attack solo is always a winner for me.

I was looking for Chris Hillman & Bernie Leadon and this popped up. The most glorious version of this song I've ever heard and just look at the expression on McGuinn's face as he sings the harmonies. He's in some vocal ecstacy. No need to praise Marty and the Fabs. Goes without saying.
