This one is a very personal favourite.

The interesting thing is that Annie Martell probably gets along with John's biological daughter from his 2nd wife, Jesse Belle, better than her other 2 children, adopted in the 1970's. Ann never gave birth. Jesse Belle is married but still lives in Aspen. Anna Kate got married and moved to New Zealand with her NZ husband and they own a bed & breakfast. Zack Denver moved from the Aspen Valley, he still owns the home in Basalt, Colorado but his wife and child live in Durango where he owns 2 BMX race tracks. Zack still owns 2 ski lodges on Snowmass Mountain near Aspen but he feels his manager is doing a very good job of running those businesses.


Who did John Denver leave his money to?


Denver was single when he died without a will, and first ex-wife was named as the executor of his estate. She divided his assets equally between his three children — two from his first marriage, and one from his second.Jul 13, 2022

Ann got a nice settlement from her divorce from John in 1982 and bought her own house 1 block south of their marriage house so the children would not have far to travel between the 2 houses. John sold the original house later. Ann has been in Aspen since then and has her PhD in clinical psychology.

The Prince Albert is a great music venue especially for smaller bands like the Molotovs (who were very good) and hopefully whatever happens next door won’t affect it too much.

Prefer seeing bands in smaller venues and miss going to places like the Free Butt, Richmond and the Alhambra.
