One of the greatest ever musical summations of American culture, way more accessible than Charles Ives symphony 4. The modern American riposte to Dark Satanic Mills. An evolution from Blake's social commentaries. Should be played before every Kennedy Centre performance. Could even be profitably included in the Last Night of The Proms, as it would amp up the atmosphere significantly and give us that extra spark. Your thoughts?
