My favourite of his is a slightly later one that came out on CD only recently. Music for a new society. 1982. Just checked, he has released only 7 albums since 1985.

Vintage violence was in 71, I have that and slow dazzle both on vinyl (and songs for Stella much later for Andy Warhol). Didn’t go to the gig at the plot but saw Chris Spedding with John Williams and Paco Pena at Guildford civic Hall, I think 1970?

A haunting old song with a swirl of contemporary strangeness.
Perfect for dark, gloomy January nights.
