Have I posted this on here before? Don't know, care less. Strictly bonkers. But great fun :moo:

'Andy walking, Andy tired
Andy takes a little snooze
Tie him up when he's fast asleep
Send him on a pleasant cruise'

Vocal Artist and album title made me think of this - completely different of course but here’s Dizzie Gillespie bebopping on his bent trumpet;

Sheer class!

I had not heard that version before - thanks for posting.
I have to say I prefer the original Bowie version.

"Originally the song was written for Dana Gillespie, who recorded it in 1971, but her version of the song was not released until 1973 on her album Weren't Born a Man. Bowie produced Gillespie's version and Ronson also plays guitar.[2] Gillespie performed the song in 1974 on the Dutch television programme TopPop.[3]" Source - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Warhol_(song)

I could die listening to that guitar.
Stunning guitar to look at too! - Chet Atkins hollow body Gretsch (maybe limited edition/custom?) are amongst the best for Country & Rockabilly sound.

For yesterday and today. The last act I saw live. And lovely they were, too.

Can't remember if this is for today or yesterday. The first new American band I liked after 1974. It took a while. But it was worth the wait.
