I chose that as one of the tracks for my Mum’s funeral. Similar memories to you. It was played with a montage of photos. Brings a tear to my eye every time I hear it now, it used to make me smile

Interesting background to the song, have to confess that I always thought the first jangly guitar break was played by George Harrison not Clapton. It just sounds so late Beatles to my ears. Apparently played by Clapton though.
