This has reminded me of my intention to document the contents of our freezer in an Apple Note so I know what is in there at any one time, saving me from having to open it up and have a look through.

I don't know if you have heard of these yet but in the US some people have a refrigerator or freezer with a camera inside that you can access with your phone and look into your refrigerator while you are at the food market on your shopping trip.

Please remember I live in Wales so none of these items are considered odd whatsoever.

Half a Lesbian
2 cans of Pineapple
A signed Tom Jones photo
A Freshly sheared Lemon
And 3 Squid

Looking for inspiration, as I have no idea what I should be putting in my freezer.

At the moment, all I've got in there is some emergency chips (which are probably well out of date by now) and a few tubs of ice.

Frozen food is all a bit rubbish right? And freezing fresh stuff just ruins it. I kind of get the impression that the freezer is a bit of a relic from the past, before buying fresh food was so convenient.

What's in your freezer?

???
A vacuum packer is your friend. I buy a lot of fresh fish and meat, vac pack it and freeze it. Tastes just as good when you defrost and use it. MAy have been mentioned in the thread already but cant say Im interested enough in the contents of everyone elses freezer to read all the posts.

A whole pig (butchered) that we killed a couple of weeks back, quarter of a cow, a leg of lamb, about 20kg of pequi and a few bags of cashew apples.
A couple of chickens to be added this weekend.

Are those the oiled and salted ones or just plain flavour.
I wish they'd post them they out fish any other bait for Bass on my local surf beach.
Plain, you're right the Bass love them here when fishing a low tide up. I'm not too far from Dungeness so lucky to have a few suppliers nearby. I guess you're miles away from the glowing pebbles of the power station?

Glad you qualified at the end you had two freezers otherwise I was about to announce you had discovered NARNIA and kept it to yourself. Does Mr Tumnus hand you what you want each time you open the freezer door?

Mid West Coast of Wales literally no Blacks at all it's either rock or Surf Beach just odd beds of blow, plenty of foot long blacks a hours drive away but not a patch on the Dunge and Pevensey variety.
