'confidential' ?

Players wages for example, and the state of the Albions finances in terms of how much MM has available for players, and also the names of the other applicants for managers jobs when Coppell, Taylor and McGhee were appointed. Those are private matters between the club and other parties and will not be revealed.

How come the club told us that Ian Dowie, Leroy Rosenior and Stuart Gray were short listed for the last job?

Surely it is a valid question I was asking?

dunno whether its just me but i'm having trouble thinking of a question to ask! I have asked about when the Inquiry date was set to be announced and lo and behold later that day it was announced.....like I got telepathic powers or something......best ask the names of our 4 new signings in a minute then eh? :jester:

It's a bit of a no win situation. I think the forum is an excellent idea and have found some of the replies very useful.

However if we over moderate it then we become accused of being lackeys of the club, which is never intended to be the case.

Some of the questions by (sorry to name them) Rih Suv'nor and The Wookie are not going to generate a response IMO because there is no way the club is going to reveal its hand about future or confidential issues. However I may be wrong about this so am between the devil and the deep blus sea.

All I would ask is that people think before writing.

We even had a very good question from FG last night, which was only removed because it was a repeat of another already on the board.

Looks like a few questions come up more than once...maybe every now and then putting them into a dedicated thread and getting people to look at those first before they start asking the same questions all over again?

Good work to the Insider - its great to see the club making an effort to be accountable to its fans and come up with helpful answers to questions.
