I'm washing it down with a marvellous De Kuyper cherry brandy. Hey, that sounds a bit like our goalie.

A Cuban/creole restaurant a couple of miles away - apparently they have a special every tuesday of a pig that is slow-roasted for a day and a half, and it's supposed to be magic.

Well, it'll have to be something 'healthy'. Despite my wife's protestations I've put on an obscene amount of weight following my travels in North America (anyone who's been there can tell you why) so I guess it'll be chicken and salad or some such.

I had bangers and mash! Haven't had it in ages and really enjoyed it. Followed by a bottle of chateux neuve de pape (excuse spelling) as that was the only bottle we had!
