Shampoo doesn't make your hair greasy but conditioner makes your hair silky smooth.

I would rather have shampoo as I don't like greasy hair.

Seeing as my hair never gets much longer than about 3 or 4mm I don't feel the need for conditioner so can't comment on the pros and cons of either.

Shampoo without conditioner is fine.

Conditioner without using shampoo first, and your hair ends up like pubes in a pair of crusty underpants!
