I am as sick to death of the foot dragging on Falmer as anyone, but it occurred to me that its not just Falmer, its anything innovative that anyone ever comes up with. Look at the list. Which do you think will ever get built ? and then decide which will be first ?

Nothing ever bloody well gets done in this fkg country without nimbys and planning permission enquiries and a load of "reasons why we can't get anything done"

In St Louis they had a Stadium in the city centre that was 25 years old, so they knocked it down and built a new one 250 YARDS to the south. Start to finish 18 months. The World Champions never missed a home game and won their Championship in the first year in the new stadium (2006).

First to vote, went for the ice-rink as it is probably the building that will have the least impact whatsoever on the city, all the remainder promise to be stunning additions to the skyline.

As the first 5 options are all local to Brighton, it will probably be the 2012 Olympic Stadium

let's just hope all the Brighton things get built. It will show we are a city which means business.
