Someone tell me where this fella went

Chesney Hawkes was a Bracknell lad who went to school with one of my ex-birds (albeit 5 years older than her) in Ascot. He then went on to do a film called "Buddy's Song" which was imaginatively filmed in Bracknell town centre.

Strangely, his career sort of plummeted after that.

And he supported Chelsea, now there's a facking surprise. :shootself

Chesney Hawkes is doing tours of universities.

But he refuses to sing the one and only, which, I would imagine, is the only reason anyone wants to see him.

So does anyone know what ever did happen to Charles & Eddie? :lolol:

No idea but Chesney Hawkes is the son of Chip Hawkes who was in the Tremeloes (anyone remember them? I think the poor sods are still touring)

And they're performing on Friday at Basildon Park, Reading.

More info about this gig:-

The concert is an outdoor, picnic event in the grounds of Basildon Park (a National Trust property) between Oxford and Reading. The concert concludes with a huge firework display choregraphed to music. The capacity of the event is 3500.

The Tremeloes will be supported on the night by The Bruvvers, Joe Brown's old backing band.

Tickets can be bought from the Box Office on 01494 755572 and are £17.50.

Personally I am of the opinion that Silence is Golden.

Devastating news for you my friend.

1. Charles & Eddie split up after the album Chocolate Milk
2. Charles lost his battle against cancer

Apparently Eddie recorded a couple of solo albums but they were never released.
