No Chapman Group property could ever be called "POSH"

Although give them credit. A mate of mine died recently and they have put a memorial in the pub for him (as he worked there as a licencee) and have promised that all the time they own the pub it will remain visible. IT consists of his pool cue, his radio and earpiece, a bottle of becks, pack of cigs, a lighter and a plaque. Really nice touch I think.
Yeah.chez said:Can I ask a quick question mate. Is it in The Shore in Seaford?
Woodchip said:Yeah.
Yeah. And you are?chez said:Martin then?
Woodchip said:Yeah. And you are?
Small world. So you know Paul Maroney (sp?)?chez said:I doubt you'll know me. Up til 2 weeks ago I was running Roys offie in Broad St. The reason I know about Martin is because the kiddie I worked with was also a good mate of his.

*insert twilght zone music here*chez said:Yeah I know Paul, he quit the same day as I did though. He's now doing the night shift in Morrisons I think.

My god, Sussex is a small county.
Yeah, in my youth. Martin and I got jumped about 2 years ago heading home. Never been back since.chez said:You ever go Trekking then??

EDIT: You'd probably know me by sight, as I look almost identical to Shermanator from American Pie.
Fairly regularly bought ale from there, as before Unwins closed and re-opened (s whatever it's called now) it was the best place to buy Ales from. Also got the "occasional" bottle of red from there as well.chez said:If you ever went into Roys then I would probably know you. But I only know the people that came into the shop as I live in Hove and never went out in Seaford.
