WYCOMBE SIGN BLADES STRIKER

Sheffield United striker Iffy Onuora has moved to Division Two side Wycombe Wanderers on loan after failing to regain his place in the Blades first-team.
The 36-year-old was a regular in Neil Warnock's side at the start of last season before an Achilles injury forced him to miss most of the campaign.

Warnock has now told Onuora that he has now future at Bramall Lane and has transfer listed the former Gillingham man.

Onuora has jumped at the chance to join Lawrie Sanchez at Wycombe with the hope of earning a permanent move to Adams Park after his month-long loan stint.

Sanchez has massive injury problems in his Chairboys squad having already lost four strikers through injury and hopes Onuora can rediscover his form of old to star in Division Two.

"It is a great opportunity for me as I want to get back playing," he told the club's official website.

"Training at Sheffield with the kids is not what I am happy with, so when Lawrie offered me the chance of a month I jumped at it.

"Wycombe is a place I always liked coming to. I have scored here in the past and have played here with Gillingham and Swindon."
