4-5-1. Two fast wingers attacking the shite Arsenal defence, Vicente pulling the stings between the centre circle and the penalty area, Hammond and Bridcutt shielding the back four. The chief getting his head on the crosses that will be raining in.........WALLOP

Easy 3 points

that's how to beat arsenal in the air they are weak there and be physical as well

Anybody who plays two out and out wingers is daft. Except for Jimmy Melia in the FA Cup, which got us relegated.

I would play 4-4-2 Capello-style (easily changes to 4-3-3) with Vicente behind the main striker which would be Ulloa or Barnes.

The problem in midfield is countering Wilshere who is much faster than he looks and has less skill than it appears. He just runs and runs.

The other problem Albion have is a surplus of right-sided players and not enough left-sided players.

Kuszczak
Calderon El-Abd Greer Bridge
Buckley Bridcutt Hammond Orlandi
Lopez
Barnes

subs: Ankergen, Painter, Lualua, Vicente, Hoskins, Dicker, Ulloa

Changed my mind. My personal choice would be an attacking:

Kuszczak
Calderon Greer Hammond Bridge
Buckley Bridcutt Lopez Orlandi
Vicente
Barnes

I am also tempted to have Buckley or Vicente on the bench as a strategic reserve. Macca could be in the squad/team as a strong runner to keep Arsenal occupied. I am slightly perturbed about the amount opf running (a lot off the ball) that Wislhere does in midfield. We do not seem to have a comparable midfielder.

I could also put Buckley upfront but this did not work against Millwall. Vicente seems to work well with Barnes if he can the ball on the plate for him.

But the upshot is that I will leave it up to Gus. If Buckers is on the bench, I want him coming on at 66 minutes, whatever the score.

That team would get ripped to shreds! 5 attacking players with just Bridcutt with a holding mindset!?

I'd only make one change though, Hammond in for CMS.

Gus said he wants to start winning more games. That team will win more than they lose and get bums off seats..If we go defencive tomorrow, we will get bashed. Go for their throats and lets have a goal feast.

CMS (Would say Ulloa but I feel we need someone to chase and pressurise the Arsenal possesion game.
Barnes

Very difficult to choose mind, perhaps if want to go a bit more defensive Buckley on bench with Hammond in.

Hammond has to start. As does Spanish Dave. I'd go:

Kuszczak
Calde Greer AEA Bridge
Bridcutt Hammond
Dave Barnes Orlandi
Ulloa

But I'd be happy to see Vicente, Buckley, KLL or CMS in there. And Casper.

No point buying a lunking great big C/F to hook up with CMS and then not play him , this is a freebie game and will be interesting to see how CMS reacts to what we all think he needed to kick on with his own game , Loathed to drop Barnes for Hammond as he has been playing really well lately so left him in but i think Poyet will go with Hammond.

I would really like to see Buckley start this week as I can see Arsenal starting Andre Santos and I think Buckley would have a field day against him. Anyone know why he has been sub for the last couple of games?
