Still Somewhere in Sussex!
What would you like the club to offer you in return for your wonga?

Do you like the chance to have your name on a seat at Falmer, and the chance to win a lifetimes season ticket, and a nice certificate? Or would you prefer something else?

Me personally. I would like my investment to get me a share or two in the club that I support! Not fussed if I have voting rights or not, but it might be nice.

Oh yes, plus tea and biscuits with Mr.Knight and Mr. McGhee :lolol:

Sussex, by the sea
how about a kind of share certificate which gives you your money back if you buy as an example a 5 year season ticket at the new Stadium . . . .

£100 off a season ticket when the clubs finances are resolved.

Is that greedy ?

:lolol:

Seriously I'd be happy with regular forums (when was the last one?) and fans representation on the board.

That's not a backhanded criticism of the current board - they are working miracles and would probably welcome the help.

But this is collective fund raising and I think it's about the right moment for us to have a collective voice.

as 10cc say, not in hove
i really don't see why if fans invest in the club they shouldn't get exactly the same as any other investor, especially as the club are asking for rather a lot of money. why shouldn't the existing shareholders be diluted if they can't fund the club? personally i'm not convinced by insider's "too expensive, not now, wrong time" argument to this point.

one solution is to set up a trust for the fan's shareholders. keeps things simple(r) regarding share issue costs.

Share certificate. Like afters said I don't buy this "it's too expensive" line, after all sorting out the seat plaques isn't going to be a zero-cost option is it?

Why not £100 off a season ticket at Falmer, and a guaranteed / reserved seat for you to buy with your Falmer season ticket? I would be quite happy to 'loan' them a little money against a future season ticket - knowing I will be sitting where I want to be.

Given the falmer capacity will be higher than withdean, I am sure the offset debt the club would incur if and when Falmer is ever built would be contained by the additional financial return obtained through the 5000+ extra seats available for each game

Not happy to give money away, even if you do get a plaque!

Yep I would agree to pay for a season ticket at the new stadium now (along the lines of the multi-year thing but a bit cheaper)

They would be "missing" that revenue when the time comes - so probably a bit financially risky. I'm sure the club has looked into all this.. you'd hope so.

Shares plus some form of representation.
If the Board need this much input from the fans, then there has to be some 'give' towards allowing a more direct fans influence into running the club.
There must be a cheap way of sorting this shares issue process.
For £2 million the Board really have to give something back. Otherwise , for all the ideas on here ,we'll get nowhere near that amount.
