It's brilliant and romantic to think initially that things will work out and you can love over that distance, but the realities are brazen and harsh. Just be prepared for the possibilitiy of it not working out. I'm not so sure myself Lush - sounds like she thought wow - what a fantastic opportunity and then a few weeks later realized what she would be giving up to go....

classic case of leap then look afterwards, bet she's regretting it at the moment - she'll find her feet in Oz quickly but she's probably really upset at what shes done right now....

If i was in love with someone for real i wouldn't leave, great oppertunity or not, i know it would be the beginning of the end. Been in a similar situation waited for someone for 10 months a remained 100% faithfull. Trouble is people change and one day i realised that i couldn't be as in love as i thought i once was, as i was starting to look around. Felt guilty as hell but it told me that perhaps it wasn't meant to be. Looking back now i can see it would never have worked.
