I'd say it's pretty simple really:
SEE HOW IT GOES.

It's brilliant and romantic to think initially that things will work out and you can love over that distance, but the realities are brazen and harsh. Just be prepared for the possibilitiy of it not working out. Don't put all your hopes there, but it would be foolish not to keep some of them with you while they make you happy and afraid and alive.

You know what I think?

She doesn't want you (that's why she's going).

But she doesn't want anyone else to have you (hence the emotional scene at the airport).

Don't be a mug. If she comes back then you can reassess how you feel but don't feel guilty if something happens with someone else in the meantime.

Lush, if you have something to say, just come out and say it. I wish you'd stop all this pussyfooting around.

(Mental note to myself, must use the word pussyfooting more often)

I think you are right Lush.

I think it is a case of onward and upward etc.

Can you set me up with anyone?

Ideally mid-late 20's intelligent, sporty / toned rather than thin, footie loving, ideally a Sussex girl with a passionate love of the Albion who likes, long walks, balmy afternoons at the cricket, cold beer and intense regular sex.

Any takers?

apart from you Easy 10:lolol:

Tend to agree with NMH. If a chics busting you out over money then the relationship isn't as pat as you may think it is, well not by her preferences anyway.

Is she gonna be a good girl in Oz or go off shagging Aussie surfer dudes at the first opportinity. IF she is then fair game on you doing the same,

I don't think Digweed fancies Aussie surfer dudes...

I'm not so sure myself Lush - sounds like she thought wow - what a fantastic opportunity and then a few weeks later realized what she would be giving up to go....

classic case of leap then look afterwards, bet she's regretting it at the moment - she'll find her feet in Oz quickly but she's probably really upset at what shes done right now....

If i was in love with someone for real i wouldn't leave, great oppertunity or not, i know it would be the beginning of the end. Been in a similar situation waited for someone for 10 months a remained 100% faithfull. Trouble is people change and one day i realised that i couldn't be as in love as i thought i once was, as i was starting to look around. Felt guilty as hell but it told me that perhaps it wasn't meant to be. Looking back now i can see it would never have worked.

I've seen Caz99's avatar on NSP, and thought she looked a bit like Helen Hunt.

Now that can only be a GOOD thing.

I have for my sins been described as a cross between Robbie Williams and Beppe from Eastenders.

No sniggering at the back there.

It was the picture you had before. And as you were facing the camera, the sharpness of your nose (or lack of it) is not very apparent (not that the picture is burnt into my mind or anything)

:D

Sorry Caz, no offence meant ! I like Helen Hunt.
