gotta go a long way to get it, but there again you'd have to go a very long way to beat it...

central otago pinot noir (new zealand).

if not that, then a premier cru puligny montrachet.

both should be taken on their own, on your own, in a dark room, with your favourite music, and no interruptions

Given the chance but it is so expensive Vino Noble Di Multipuciano or a good Julienas if I am eating but for general quaffing I often have a bottle of Rose, cheaper than buying pint after pint of beer.

It's a bit of a stupid question. What colour wine do you prefer? What's COLOUR got to do with it?

Much like asking: What clothes do you prefer? Warm or cool?

It DEPENDS.

Black Tower and Blue Nun :) I seriously have no taste for wine and they are the only ones I like :)

(Sorry for the semi-crappy post, I was on a Nelson :) )

... but, like Ben's Grandad, there's only one circumstance that I can think of when I would turn down a bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. That's when a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino is available.

For poor folk like me Ozzy reds and NZ whites. Plus any good French red that's on offer.

never had the money to buy expensive wines - though a i do enjoy a bottle of mid range Faustino or for under a fiver, chilean merlot.
