The games clash, so which will you be watching? I myself am going to plump for the rugby as I tend to find most of our non finals england games a little dull (apart from Turkey) and you can guarentee the rugby team will be running through brick walls to not only nail the french (a glorious site in itself) but to push for world cup places. Should be our first team as well...apart from maybe Wilkinson.

Have to say, shock horror, Id take out national rugby team over footy any day..(england footy mind..not Brighton).
They try harder and play to a higher level in friendlies then the footy lot do in major competitions. We are the best in the world and have perhaps the bet all round player the game has seen.

Im sure Martin Johnson and Danny Grewcock would agree with you on that....;)
Darts yes.

I admire any professional sportsman that can play his chosen game to the highest order whilst holding a fag (not you fatboy) and a pint in 1 hand.:clap2:

Probably Rugby to be honest. I know exactly what Jimmy Greaves means, a lot of international matches are indescribably boring. Does anybody really thing Macedonia v England will be a classic? The result's important so I'll be checking the score, but please don't make me watch it.

jimmy greaves is brilliant, and one of my mates dad's is called jimmy cos he looks like jimmy greaves and his surname is greaves!as for england v FYR Macedonia, it wont be a classic, but for me id have to record one and watch the other then watch the one i recorded! Probs watch football then watch the rugby without finding out the score!

With you all the way Richie. Hoping to get a last minute ticket for the game on Saturday - Rugby that is. There is a lot more passion and effort in our national rugby team than football, our footballers are too scared about injury and the wrath of their managers if they do get injured and too concerned with money. The England rugby shirt means a lot more to the players than the football shirt.

Much as I love watching football it does annoy me at what a big bunch of winging girls pro footballers can be sometimes. They need to take a leaf out the rugby players' book when it comes to foul play missed by the ref, they should take it on the chin and realise that no matter how much you winge he's not going to change his decision.

And while I'm at it there's none of this namby pamby kicking the ball into touch if someone gets 'injured', the play just continues around the injured player being seen to by the physio until it goes dead for a legitimate reason. This makes it much better for the spectators and prevents people feigning injury.
