Israel try to kill a Hamas leader 2 days ago. Hamas claim responsibility for 2 suicide bombings yesterday. Israel have just (unsuccessfully) tried to kill a Hamas leader.

What's going to happen next?

Isreal pop to the Docklands arms fair to buy yet more weapons and still manage to miss the leaders of Hamas that they're after.

THe whole situation is going to go mental, its all tit for tat, neither side really wants peace yet, Israel want to get rid of Hamas and they think the only way to do this is to kill them and Hamas want all their demands met (never gonna happen) so its gonna go on for a while yet.

It doesn't help that Aerial Sharron (sp) is an extremely nasty piece of work.

Agreed about Sharron, it was his visiting of Palestinian holy grounds that kicked all this off big time a few years ago.

The USA should put immense pressure on Israel to cease all military action, even in the face of bombings, as they have by far the greater military might and are effectively oppressing the Palestinian people and have been in breach of UN resolutions for years. Then the Palestinians would have no choice but to back off.

This is the real reason for the many muslim terror campaigns around the world and yet we are now told Iraq is the middle front of the campaign against terror.
