Green six, then moved to red six as Sixer (7th Tonbridge Eden Valley), then Kingfisher where I ended up as patrol leader (2nd Tunbridge Wells, Rusthall)

That's a tough one. Cubs and Scouts sort of merged together in my mind and I don't think I spent more than a couple of years in Scouts, but I would say 65 to 67. I do remember wippy sticks at Park Wood!

42nd Brighton (Saltdean) and can't remember any of the patrol names - was a seconder in the yellows (I think) at cubs

My mum was a Brown Owl for many years down at Saltdean and the brownie girls used to come to our house to "do their badges" - SPC totally frowns on this now, them was the days .....

The most curious thing..
Cubs was just the colour of your woggle.

Scouts was Owls where I had supreme executive power.

My father was Group Scout Master and as well as various knives, woggles, landyards and things for getting Boy Scouts out of horses´hooves he always had his pipe tucked into his sock.
