Red Rum winning the Grand National again
the Barbarians v All Blacks game with THAT try from the early 70s

I've seen that a few times and I still can't see what the fuss is about.

It wasn't the trip itself that made this moment. It was the build up to the showdown with Decker.

Budd's selection to run for Britain in the Olympics was a DISGRACE. Watching her shame herself by tripping Decker was her COMEUPPANCE.

She'd blown the biggest moment in her life.

Cricinfo - England

Edit: He did it in England AND South Africa. Made Boycott look like a pioneering slogger.

I was in Malawi at the time and watched much of the test at Lilongwe Golf Club.

I think he finished with the most runs that series with a strike rate of 30.

I remember Jack Russell batted for a fortnight and scored 30 odd against the West Indies(?)

In the end tho, she was just a little kid. And Decker was evil. Perfect outcome, I'd say.

I blame the parents.

It's worth another look.

Budd was clearly in front of Decker when the incident happened - she never saw Decker to intentionally trip her.

Decker just ran too close to her.
