What were the original 100 Great Sporting Moments?

Watching the inestimably fantastic film One Day In September reminded me again of the other famous event at the Munich Olympics in 1972, the USSR v USA basketball final, the one for which the Americans have STILL not picked up their silver medals - one of them has it written into his will that his descendants can never do so.

I first saw this on the consistently-superb 100 Great Sporting Moments, which always used to fill a 5-10 minute timeslot on the BBC in my youth. But what were the others? And why don't they ever repeat them?

EDIT - there might only have been 100...

So to begin:
1. The 1972 Olympic Basketball final
2. Hereford vs Newcastle in the FA Cup

Probably Henry cooper knocking down Cassius Clay - even tho he then went on to get absolutely pummelled

Oh, and I think Desert Orchid used to fill a 5-10 minute timeslot in SOMEBODY's youth...

Now edited.

There certainly seemed to be a great deal more magic moments in 'those days'. Perhaps we will look back on the modern day ones with as much fondness.
