i thought it was by 12pm, if you wanted them to play in an evening game.

If they sign before the ref walks onto the pitch, they can play.
 






I'm sure it is already too late. Gus will have decided the team earlier today, and they will be discussing tactics. If the team structure were to change now, with just a few hours left before the game, it would be very unsettling, especially if someone were to come in they hadn't played with before.

Everyone seems to have it right pretty much.

The deadline for permanent signings was midday yesterday to play today (midday today for clubs with a game tomorrow). That deadline has obviously passed.

The deadline for loan signings is 5pm today to play tonight.

Pretty certain though that Gus will already know his side and only Vokes of any new signings will feature and probably off the bench.
