What the heck is going on?

Just got back from Heathrow after 2 weeks away in the Canadian wilderness (flipping cold and snowing with bears roaming around the cabin all night) to find Seagulls 2nd but Coppell leaving(?) and half the team having surgery.
Can someone give me a short update on how we got this far? And what's more I find out that lovely Dee in Neighbours has been killed off.
It's depressing..perhaps the bears should have got me.
Nice to be back though.
