There was such an array of massive winter coats, on top of chunky jumpers, with big thick woolly hats scarfs and glove combos, I'm surprised anyone could move.

The fella next to me couldn't bend enough to sit down.
Clapping was completely out of the question, and would have been pointless due to the 2 pillows he had strapped to the end of his arms.

I can only assume you'll all be bringing your own radiators when we actually get into winter.

I shall wear the rather snazzy snood I purchased in the club shop tonight whilst staying in there out of the cold.

Out on delivery today, I had some lady telling me how lovely and warm it was.
She wasn't wrong, the temp display in the van said it was a balmy 13 degrees, with hardly a breath of wind.

She was wearing a full length thick woollen coat, massive winter boots, 'Russian' hat, thick scarf and gloves.

I was wearing a shirt and shorts.

Yes, but you live in Miami and deliver ice to hot people...or did I dream that?

Buy some decent warm clothes, layers upon layers of hoodies e.t.c. wont keep you that warm ever, get some proper insulation.

Reckon wearing my tiger print onesie as a base layer will keep me toastie. Possibly over my union suit and some moth eaten Merino wool and cashmere jumpers I keep for extra layering. If it gets any colder I'll bring a sleeping bag with 2 naked women in.

It doesn't get that cold here, I went to Toronto during winter 3 years ago, THAT was cold! Since I've come back I don't tend to moan about cold weather any more. T shirt, hoodie and a windproof fleece is all that's needed. Plus, up at the back of WSU we're well protected from the elements anyway.
