What striker can save us in Jan?

No one can save us. We are relegated with the Finn in charge. Problem is, when we are relegated Tony will say, it's pointless sacking him now so we'll go with Sami in division one and Sami will have us at the gallows door straight away and Tony will still refuse to sake him.

People need to wake up, Sami is getting us relegated and make no mistake about that. The club are trying to do things on the cheap but they are clueless as it's costing us money. Bloom needs to wake up and smell the coffee but he's coming across as pig headed and thinks he knows best, fair enough Tony, it's your money and if you're happy to lose million then rather you than me.

Burnley last season, 10 very disciplined organised players and Danny Ings was enough to get them promoted. Interestingly he often had a strike partner to assist in occupying defenders in the shape of Vokes.

They didn't really have any other outstanding players but played very well together and made it tricky for the opposition to play against them. Subsequently they got promoted.

You are partially correct.

Although we did have the best attacking full back in the division (top of the assists table for the whole division) and three quarters of our midfield had played around about 200 Premier League games between them.

As per wiki but that is his entire career at BHA not is his half season before injury.
Half season? He got injured in March ffs, he managed 29 league games and scored 11 goals. Stop making stuff up and pretending to be some kind of footballing oracle.

Further to that, he missed several games before his long term injury, so while he made 29 appearances, he was injured with 11 games remaining, making it in effect 11 goals over 35 games.

How was he supposed to score when out injured? Statistics are the worst example for an argument because they can be changed to suit the person arguing so are really worthless. Using your maxim he scored 11 in 29 he actally played so based on a full season should gave got an acceptable 17 who else has done that?

So we're looking for someone free, eager to play, with the ability to rape defences? I can think of a man.....

Go back and look through his record for that season, he scored 9 in the first 12 or so games and then 2 in the following 20 fixtures. He started the season with a little purple patch but then returned to his usual form

You: he scored x in half a season!
me: actually it was over 3/4s of a season
You: Statistics are a bad argument... he scored 11 in 29 so would have scored 17!!
me: *head scratch*

Get an# specialist attacking coach from Denmark and play their 1992 style. Needs a pacy winger though.
