i just had smoked salmon and continental roule on lightly buttered white toast, with a glass of rather nice spanish cava.

Don't go making the same mistake that I did. We had no normal bowls left at home, so I had to use a mixing bowl for my Ready Brek. Ended up having to swallow about a pint and a half of the stuff which is more difficult than it sounds. Still, I put a bit of chocolate powder and sugar on it. Took quite a bit of effort tho.
