too the players it will be 3 points against a promotion/play off rival team.
why would charlie, adam and dean be aware of what it means, the rivalry was back in the 70/80's?
With El Abd out, there is a chance that there could be only one player starting for us who really has any idea what it means to play Palace, and he's a loan player - Dean Hammond.
I can't work out whether this is a good or bad thing.
Good - it will feel like 'just another game' and the players will keep cool and calm.
Bad - it will feel like 'just another game' and players won't be able to rise to the occasion.
Convince me one way or the other please.

To be honest, I don't think many people younger than 50 REALLY knows what it means to play Palace, myself included.
None of them will be well remembered, including Poyet, unless they have been part of a win over Palace
