Our proud history of standing up to tyranny.

Funny thing is, in many parts of the world that used to be red on the map, they might also think of Britain and tyranny in the same sentence.

What makes Britain great? Not much. What's left of it is sinking in a sea of alcohol, as far as I can tell. Very sad.

Our zany humour, and interest in violent behaviour when we decide things aren't all that funny.
chavs.
racial harmony and willing integration for immigrants.
Diversity of religion and beliefs.
rain. oh, and sleet......and drizzle !
pub grub.
education, the roads, the aquaduct......er, we have a thread already about that?
British birds?

Alright, music. There, I found one thing that is really great about Britain

Ok it's easy when you have been abroad for a while, so here goes in not too much of an order and by far from complete

Proper pubs in the country with real fires and roast dinners, English breakfast with real sausages and proper bacon, pints of beer, Brighton beach and prom, London it's a fantastic city, The Monarchy, our interesting often magnificent but sometimes shameful history, The British Empire good and bad, our ability to have so much diversity in our culture with so few problems , Chas and Dave total legends, The National Anthem, Last night of the proms, FA Cup Final day, The Prodigy, Welsh birds, Rememberence day, the best flags in the world including of course The Union Flag, The Armed Forces, The day the fixture list comes out in the summer, British summer time with light late evenings, Gurkhas, Pork Pies with mustard, Marmite on toast, London Pride, Good old sussex by the sea, The Gaurds at Buckingham palace, The Tube map, Freedom.

The fact that we allow the likes of Richie Morris to wander amongst us freely.

There's not enough characters in football these days etc.
