All about the cricket for me, but will keep an eye on the tennis. I have no interest in cycling I'm afraid.

I've been following the Southern 100 on Manx FM. Tremendous stuff.

Happy Birthday! But to correct one small point........ At 40 you don't have Girl Friends unless you're seriously wealthy! Have to think of another title Lady friend? :)

:)
She still calls her mother "Mummy" - which doesn't mean she's been embalmed and pickling nicely - so in spite of her age, which i shan't mention, but is certainly more than mine, she likes to think of herself as girly. Maybe, though, some of the content of my first letter to her will include mention of the alteration of title. I doubt she'll accept "The Old Dear" just yet. I'll wait for her written reply, though, just to make sure.

During an Ashes summer in England I'm pretty much not aware any other sport is happening (except the Albion once the season starts obviously).

90% Cricket 10% Tennis. But only because it's Wimbledon.

Cricket is my favourite sport so what limited time I get to check up on anything will go to that. I used to be interested in cycling (Djmolidine Abdoujaparov was my favourite) but haven't paid any attention to it for a long while really. Tennis is one of the dullest sports known to man.

It took me a while to work out what TDF was I take so little interest in it. I'd be watching the tennis if the cricket wasn't on.

I voted TDF but will be at Hove for the Sussex 20/20 tonight - I imagine another sell out

Should have been an option for all three as I will be channel hopping

80% Wimbledon, 20% TMS. Gasquet vs Djoko is already looking a BEAST of a match.

What's meant by "general admission" at Hove? Is it worth paying an extra fiver to go elsewhere?
