Brighton. NOT KEMPTOWN!
Suspended from Coldean Junior School for calling Mrs Sopwith (a really nice teacher) a slut. I didn’t know what it meant :(

Also suffered a severe bollocking for decking a kid that had nicked my football.

I won't be tackling you on Saturday mornings from now on!

After a tip-off, I googled the OP’s account name. They’ve posted the same sort of information-gathering stuff, all with a hit & run type approach, on multiple fora covering football and a wide variety of other pastime-related activities. As my tipper-offerer observed, fishy and creepy.

Banned.

Yet people are still responding to this and the other threads.

Depending how "fishy and creepy" and creepy you and your tipper-offerer find it, is it worth locking the threads?

I suppose it was for taking naughty stuff in.

I took in a french banger. Best mate pleaded with me to let it off and promised to take the rap.

We were in a class with slim windows high up corridor side, but virtually next to the office of a senior member of staff. Mate lit it and lobbed it out. A tremendous bang. The teacher was as soft as shite. "James was that you?" she asked. "Yes." the reply. Basically "Naughty boy don't do it again" was her telling off.

Within a minute the battle axe had come in and taken James away.

10-15 minutes later I was called out and taken to the deputy head. He went so mental that he knocked stuff off his desk. Managed to keep a straight face while contemplating to pick it up or leave it. I left it.

I think I got banned from something.

Briefly suspended for setting off a firework - a rocket, indoors. Wanted to see how fast it would go along the polished corridor floor. Answer = very fast (until the Art room door got in the way)

Surely that was a Physics Practical Experiment? That's what I would have argued anyway.... :lolol:

Personally I got caned at Primary School for tattooing some brand new chairs with a compass and ink.

Seeing as the tattoo was my signature it didn't take Sherlock Holmes to find out who had done it.

Funnily enough got involved in loads of fights at Grammar School and they never came to anything much. One fight (during a rugby match) saw me going from the Second 15 to the First!

As an aside we had a Games Teacher (didn't do anything else, wasn't the intellectual type) who had played a bit of professional Rugby League in the past and was an absolute ******* if you got on the wrong side of him. He didn't like ear rings which were just coming in in the late 1970's and I remember him in the Changing Rooms explaining the School Policy and then ripping one out of someone's ear, handing it back to him and saying 'now you know not to bring that into school from now on'. A Career ending move today but this was the late 1970's and Oop North.

I have been considering it, tbh. I haven’t because I’m generally a liberal-type and don’t like censorship (I know, I know). Also, if people are happy disclosing quasi-personal stuff about themselves on social media, there’s a bit of me that says “that’s their call”. Finally, some of the posts from long-standing members are downright funny (and revealing).

Inconsistent, I know. Sorry...

Teacher left his coffee beside where I was using a blow torch in metal work. Thought it would be a kind gesture to heat up with said blow torch. He picked it up swore extremely loudly and launched his mug across the room. He left the school shortly after with a nervous breakdown.

Not sure how much anyone could get from my post except I was a bit dim at Primary School and then a bit Punchy at Grammar School and had a somewhat Non PC Games Teacher - no Names no Pack Drill...

All at Haywards Heath Grammar School. Six of the best for talking in assembly. Caught with a few others smoking behind the gym by an understanding PE teacher Fred Smith, who smoked himself and was more bothered by us being out of bounds than smoking. Punishment was having to watch staff vs. school cricket match, which we were relieved to hear. That match had been postponed because some bright spark(s) had dug up the cricket pitch the night before and somehow managed (ladder?) to hang a load of women's underwear from the staffroom window. Got threatened with suspension by Headmaster Ted Wynter for getting caught playing truant and fruit picking during school hours but beat that by not coming back after the school holiday. Good job he didn't catch us at lunchtimes on school days in the Snowdrop and other pubs in our sixth form sports jackets.

I wonder if this person is trying to glean information that can be used to gain access to online banking etc. "What was your first school" is a popular security question. Sounds like the OP is building a database....

Caned for crashing a friends scooter into a teacher's car. I thought it was in neutral but it wasn't. I was 15.

Good, but I'm surprised they were allowed to start 9 threads in the first place if their posts have to be approved.

Didn't get in trouble, as we didn't get caught, but at uni, a friend of a friend had just finished their final year, so we broke into the English department and stole some headed notepaper, and then wrote to said friend informing him that his result was borderline and he'd be having viva examination to determine his result. Poor sod was studying when he should have been partying.

Pushed a mate around in a wheelie bin, stole the caretakers walkie talkie and was involved in a 50 person marathon through the corridors at break

That's fine, I'm more puzzled than concerned.

Full disclosure - I once got sent out of the Glebe school dining room for talking.

I've mentioned this on another thread, way back.

A bit tenuous, but.......
I was travelling back on the train, after our FA Cup final.
As there were no second class seats available, the six of us decided to sit in first class.
After a fashion, one of my mates decided to unscrew a light bulb and chuck it across to another of us.
Ultimately it came to me, I threw it back across to a mate, who decided to drop it, this smashed on floor, and on cue a couple of coppers, who worked with my dad appeared
The PC was okay, but the Sgt was an absolute ass, who tried to get us all arrested.
That never happened, as apologies were eventually accepted.
Knowing what this Sgt was like, I got off at the next station, called my dad to save him any embarrassment.
Never made the replay and was grounded for a month, plus no school football either.

It's ok. I didn't get into trouble in my first school.

I wonder if Goldstone1976 should put a warning in each thread title. This was posted by a bot.

In my own strange world
Plenty of times for fighting, the most memorable was for giving the school "grass" a bit of a beating after the snivelling little git made up some bullshit about my then girlfriend, was made to sing a solo of "When the saints go marching in" by our Southampton supporting Music teacher who knew I followed the Mighty Seagulls.Myself and a group of others also got a mass 1 Hr. detention everyday after school for 2 weeks after riding off on our bikes during lunchtime for a pre-arranged punch-up with our local rival school,to which the Police were called and very kindly escorted us back to see the Headmaster.I could go on with many, many more...

An honest snippet. A lot of the other stuff on this thread seems unrepresentively mild, compared to the real goings ons at senior schools.

At my school, during my time there I saw or knew of:
Stoning of rival school's minibus when ambushed on journey home from a sports match.
A teacher was blinded in one eye by a kid throwing her down the stairs.
As a boy was expelled in front of a massed assembly, he did Hitler salutes.
Mass window breaking out of hours.
Smashed fire alarms on final day of term.
Being hit by a lump of timber thrown at full whack across a woodworking class.
Kids intricate metalwork lobbed into the furnace.
The metalwork teacher's cup of tea filled with iron fillings.
A PE teacher smashing his own son in with a trainer for being naughty (this was illegal by then)
Being hit by wound-up female teachers (when also outlawed)
Clay being lobbed across art clases, some hitting the teacher's head.
Teachers cars being being peppered with denting ice-balls after snow, as they drove into school.
A pencil rammed into a kids skull from behind his back.
